With a wide range of sport facilities and assets including several large multi-surface venues, our region encompasses more sport infrastructure than any other tier-two destination in Ontario! A destination within close proximity to the highest percentage of population involved in organized sport in Ontario as well as large market in US, makes us an ideal hosting location. The Region holds all the required ingredients that are typically available only in top-tier destinations, including numerous and varied tourism “attractions” (theatre, specialty retail, annual events). We are proud to say our community based sport organizations and volunteers are amongst the most involved in the province. We are armed with a Regional Reservation System (RRS) for seamless engagement with our regional hoteliers and can pass along some great incentives to help support your program requirements.
